I, (Kevin Gardner) started out in 1986 as a driver for AFM. I took my city and guilds 262 electrical courses and within the year was promoted to manager holding this position for two years where I went on to become a Director. I took a change of direction in 1996 and decided to go out on the road as an Electrician/Gaffer. Eventually, I took the plunge and set up Kagey Lighting Ltd in 2009 and the rest as you say is history.
Over the 27 years I have gained a vast and extensive knowledge of production needs and at Kagey we are 100% committed to providing the best service possible to suit your budget needs.

Myself, (Carol Gardner) have had interest in the media business first started in the '70s when our dad (Tommy Gardner) took me to his place of work at 'Lee Electrics' in Kensal Rise. He took me to various film sets he was working on at Pinewood and Shepperton.
I got my first job at the BBC in the social club where I met and mingled with many TV legends. I also got to watch 'Top Of The Pops' being made every week (bonus!)
A few years later I got my first serious media job at 'A & R Studios' in Cricklewood helping to manage running the two stages. I loved watching productions and promos being made...amazing! Sadly the studio shut down but I went on to work for 'Suz Cruz' diary services where I learned about bookings and managing personnel.
One set of twins and a few wrinkles later, I joined Kevin at Kagey Lighting where I help him with day to day admin, invoices and bookings.
